San Gold Announces 84 Vein Drilling Results

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - Feb. 8, 2012) - San Gold Corporation (TSX:SGR)(OTCQX:SGRCF) today announced the results of drilling in the 84 Vein of the Rice Lake Mining Complex in Manitoba, Canada.

Results obtained from the 84 Vein drilling program demonstrate robust grades and widths, including 26-11-262 with 27.1 g/tonne over 15.4 metres and 26-11-259 with 13.6 g/tonne over 11.7 metres.
The results were obtained from a previously untested mineralized region located within 100 metres of existing infrastructure between 24 Level and 26 Level in the Rice Lake shaft mine. San Gold will begin mining operations within the 84 Vein in early 2012. Ramp development from 26 Level is already underway, with active mining starting during the first quarter.

"This shows the tremendous exploration potential that still exists within the original mining unit. These discoveries are especially valuable because of how quickly they can be incorporated into the mine plan," said George Pirie, San Gold's President and Chief Executive Officer.

The 84 Vein is hosted along the San Antonio Mine unit, a mafic unit associated with production of about 1.5 million ounces of gold since 1931. This drilling summary includes all diamond drilling carried out to date within the 84 Vein between 2009 and 2011 from underground drill stations located within the Rice Lake Mining Complex. In total, 35 intercepts were recorded from 29 holes in this region.

Figures 1 to 4, at the end of this release, provide a detailed long section and graphic illustrations showing drill holes and intercepts related to the 84 Vein drilling program. These figures can also be found on the company web site (www.sangold.ca) and on SEDAR (www.sedar.com).

This program was carried out by San Gold mine geologists under the supervision of D. Ginn, P.Geo., the Qualified Person for San Gold under National Instrument 43-101. Underground drill core samples are assayed on site in the company's assay lab using the fire assay method with an AA and gravimetric finish. San Gold's quality control and assurance program includes the insertion of standards, the retention of pulps and rejects, and spot checks utilizing independent labs including TSL Laboratories in Saskatoon, SK and Accurassay Laboratories of Thunder Bay, ON. The core lengths are actual lengths as drilled and have not been adjusted for the true width of the mineralized zones.

Rodinia Lithium fast tracks first production well at Diabillos

Rodinia Lithium Commences Drilling of First Production Well at Diablillos
3 hours ago by Marketwire
Rodinia Lithium Inc. ("Rodinia" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: RM)(OTCQX: RDNAF) is pleased to announce that a drill has been mobilized and is set to commence drilling the first production well on its 100% owned Salar de Diablillos lithium brine project ("Diablillos" or "Salar") located in Salta Province, Argentina.

The first production sized well is to be drilled in the vicinity of DRC-01 that intersected averages of 713 mg/L lithium ("Li"), 9,000 mg/L potassium ("K"), and 543 mg/L boron ("B") over the 120 metre drill hole depth (refer to press release dated September 17, 2010).
"Initiating our first production sized well only 17 months after the discovery hole at Diablillos was announced, in our opinion, demonstrates the company's strategy to fast track the development of the project," commented William Randall, President & CEO of Rodinia. "This marks yet another important step towards completing the work required for a feasibility study. This first production well, along with the majority of the subsequent evaluation work to follow, will be designed and executed in a manner such that they can also be incorporated into the commercial production facility. This is anticipated to save us time and capital as we continue to move towards production."

The production well is designed to evaluate the range of pumping rates, well efficiencies and drawdown/recharge characteristics of the middle and lower aquifers during a long term high volume pump test. The plan is to install a deep well pump, capable of volumes up to 3800 l/min, in a 10-inch diameter cased well 237 meters deep terminated just above the crystalline basement rocks. The proposed pump test will proceed for 10-15 days and will provide engineering data for a feasibility study.

The production well is to be drilled in the vicinity of the anticipated commercial production well field. The well will target the two largest aquifers modeled in the resource estimate, in addition to being located in one of the deepest portions of the basin. The well is also centered in close proximity to the higher grade portions of the resource, potentially allowing higher grades to be accessed during the initial production years.

The Project is supervised by Ray Spanjers, Rodinia's Manager of Exploration. Mr. Spanjers is considered a qualified person, as defined by National Instrument 43-101, and has reviewed and approved the scientific and technical information in this release. According to the Company's sampling protocol, sample size is to exceed 500 millilitres and be stored in clean, secure containers for transportation. The prepared samples are then forwarded to the ALS Laboratory Group, Environmental Division, in Fort Collins, Co (USA) for analysis. A rigorous QA/QC program is implemented consisting of regular insertion of standards and blanks to ensure laboratory integrity.

"Infill drilling at the 147 Zone continues to return excellent high grade drill results over thick intervals," said Howard Bird, Brigus' Vice President of Exploration. "These impressive results will expand the size of our current gold resource and we are confident that our 2012 drilling program will further expand the 147 and Contact Zones."

The initial resource estimate for the 147 and Contact zones, as released in December 2011, added more than 50 percent to the gold resource at the Black Fox Complex. The ongoing drill program continues to successfully increase the size of the gold resource through step-out drilling and is also designed to convert Inferred ounces to Indicated ounces through systematic in-fill drilling. An updated resource estimate will be released mid-year 2012.

The 147 and Contact zones provide Brigus with near term production growth opportunities because of their proximity to the Black Fox mine infrastructure.

Brigus is continuing its exploration program in 2012 through an $8.0 million surface exploration program focused on expanding the 147 and Contact zones as well as other high potential zones on the Black Fox Complex. Currently, there are four drill rigs in operation on the property.

The Black Fox Complex covers an area of approximately 18 square kilometres within the Timmins Mining District, Ontario. The core area of the 147 Zone extends for approximately 250 m in a north-south direction dipping at approximately 80 degrees to the east. Gold mineralization primarily occurs within multiple quartz carbonate brecciated zones within bleached units of variolitic mafic volcanics and other parallel footwall zones.

Details of the most recent 147 Zone drill holes and the 147 Zone drill-hole location map can be found on the Company's website at www.brigusgold.com.

Surface drilling was conducted by Norex Drilling and was supervised by the Brigus exploration team. All sample analyses reported herein were performed by Polymet Labs of Cobalt, Ontario, which is ISO 9001:2000 certified in North America using standard fire assay procedures. Intercepts cited do not necessarily represent true widths, unless otherwise noted. Brigus Gold's quality control checks include insertion of blanks, standards and duplicates to ensure laboratory accuracy. Senior Exploration Project Manager John A. Dixon, P. Geo., reviewed the technical exploration information in this release as the Qualified Person for the Company.

About Brigus

Talison Lithium Announces Preliminary Second Quarter 2012 Sales Volume

Perth, Western Australia, January 12, 2012 – Talison Lithium Limited (“Talison” or the “Company”) (TSX: TLH | US: TLTHF ) today announced its preliminary sales volume and production results for the three months ended December 31, 2011 (“Q2 FY2012”).  The Company also provided an update on its growth projects encompassing its Australian capacity expansion, lithium minerals conversion plant and Salares 7 brine project.
Preliminary Results
Talison sold 75,221 tonnes lithium concentrate during Q2 FY2012 (or approximately 11,200 tonnes lithium carbonate equivalent (“LCE”)). Sales in the quarter were affected by significant congestion at the Port of Bunbury due to berth closures and unplanned Port shutdowns impacting all Port users. This resulted in approximately 38,000 tonnes of Talison’s lithium concentrate sales that were ready at the Port for shipment in early December being delayed into January 2012. These shipments have now departed and will be included in Q3 FY2012 sales. Sales for the 2012 fiscal year are not expected to be affected.

For the six months ended December 31, 2011 Talison sold 155,536 tonnes of lithium concentrate (approximately 23,100 tonnes LCE), a 4% increase compared to the six months ended December 31, 2010.

Q2 FY2012 production was 89,015 tonnes lithium concentrate (approximately 13,200 tonnes LCE), a 7% increase compared to Q2 FY2011.  For the six months ended December 31, 2011, Talison produced 179,723 tonnes of lithium concentrate (approximately 26,700 tonnes LCE), a 9% increase compared to the six months ended December 31, 2010.

Growth Projects
Greenbushes Stage 2 Expansion On Schedule and On Budget
The Stage 2 Expansion at the Greenbushes Lithium Operations continues to proceed on schedule and on budget.  Foundations for the new chemical-grade plant are complete, installation of steel-work is continuing and the conveyer belt to the finished product stockpile is being constructed.
The Company continues to expect commissioning of the Stage 2 Expansion during Q4 FY2012.  Upon completion, the Stage 2 Expansion will double Talison’s current production capacity to approximately 740,000 tonnes per annum lithium concentrate (approximately 110,000 tonnes per annum LCE).
Work on the new chemical-grade plant as part of the Stage 2 Expansion at the Greenbushes Lithium Operations.
Conveyer belt to finished product stockpile being constructed as part of the Stage 2 Expansion at the Greenbushes Lithium Operations
Proposed Minerals Conversion Plant
Responding to growing global demand for an additional secure supply of lithium chemicals, particularly from electric vehicle battery manufacturers, Talison is aggressively pursuing its proposed plant to convert lithium minerals into lithium carbonate (“Minerals Conversion Plant”).
Commencing in early calendar 2012, the next phase of the project includes a detailed engineering study of a 20,000 tonnes per annum lithium carbonate plant located in Western Australia. Talison is targeting commissioning in FY2015 and anticipates making an investment decision on the project by the end of calendar 2012.
Discussions with potential customers for the Minerals Conversion Plant are continuing positively. To accelerate the formation of customer relationships in Japan, Talison recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sojitz Corporation to discuss on a non-exclusive basis collaborative marketing and distribution opportunities of lithium carbonate produced by Talison to customers in Japan.
Greenbushes Resource Development and Salares 7 Project
Talison is accelerating resource definition drilling at the Greenbushes Lithium Operations due to the encouraging progress to date in the development of the Minerals Conversion Plant.
The objective of accelerating the drilling is to increase lithium mineral reserves and extend the mine life at Greenbushes to support future additional expansions of the lithium concentrate processing plants and a potential doubling in capacity of the Minerals Conversion Plant.
Consequently Talison is reallocating resources in H2 FY2012 from the Salares 7 Project to the drilling at Greenbushes. The drilling program at the Salares 7 Project will be deferred and the focus will be on the environmental approvals process. This is not anticipated to affect the overall development timetable for the Salares 7 Project.
Financial Results Release February
Talison will release its financial results for Q2 FY2012 in mid-February, 2012.
Peter Oliver, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Talison will host a conference call to discuss the results.
Teleconference and replay call details will be distributed prior to the release of financial results.

Today

International Lithium Corp. ("ILC" or the "Company") (ILC:TSXV) is pleased to announce the Company has discovered a high grade lithium, high density pegmatite boulder field on the Company's 100% owned rare metals Blackstairs project ("Property") located 80 kilometres south of Dublin, Ireland.

Key Point Summary:

-- High grade pegmatite boulder field discovered in a recently
        exposed area at Moylisha;
-- Located 500m along trend to the southwest of past pegmatite
        exploration;
    -- 4.59%, 3.45% and 3.27% Li2O grab samples collected*; and
-- Indicates a potentially sizable, yet to be discovered buried
        pegmatite body.

"The high-grade lithium pegmatite boulder field identified at Moylisha significantly reinforces the potential to discover buried pegmatite bodies on the Property," states Mike Sieb, President of the Company. "These results, from a cursory investigation, far exceeded expectations and dramatically raise the directive for further work."

Moylisha Discovery
A preliminary reconnaissance of the Property performed by Aurum Exploration Services, the Company's geo-services consultant for the project, discovered within a 250 x 250 metre area a high density distribution of pegmatite boulders. This area is in a recently harvested section of a tree farm in which the pegmatite boulders were previously hidden from view. Four samples (MOY2-5)* were collected in this new area with three of the samples grading better than 3% Li2O and the highest returning 4.59% Li2O representing greater than a 50% spodumene content.

This newly identified lithium pegmatite boulder area is situated 500m to the southwest and along the district trend from past exploration activities at Moylisha, where five drill holes totalling 212 metres were drilled revealing a pegmatite between 5 and 10 metres in width and a best intersection grading 1.66% Li2O over 9.4m.
The observed high grade lithium bearing pegmatites and extensive boulder occurrence within such a small area represents a highly prospective and unexplored zone along strike from a previously identified pegmatite and specifically indicates a potentially sizable, yet to be discovered buried pegmatite body.
The discovery was made during a preliminary exploration programme that included boulder mapping at six of the known lithium prospects and the initiation of exploration for additional occurrences within the Property. A total of 21 varied samples were collected across the Property and of the 8 spodumene bearing pegmatite samples collected, all returned greater than 1% Li2O. The table below lists the 8 highlighted grab samples.
Table 1: Highlighted Grab Samples*

*Grab samples are by definition selective and are unlikely to represent average grades on the property.
Grab sample MOY10 was collected in proximity to the past exploration activity at Moylisha.
The 21 samples were analysed at OMAC Laboratories Ltd., Loughrea, Galway County, Ireland. OMAC is part of the ALS Group, a recognized and certified international firm for geochemical analysis and assays. Samples were prepared by OMAC and analysed using ICP-AES following multi-acid digestion.
Blackstairs Project
The Blackstairs project, comprised of eight mineral exploration licences totalling 292 square kilometres, is located 80 km south of Dublin straddling the Counties of Carlow and Wicklow in Leinster, south-east Ireland. The Property encompasses an extensive NE-SW oriented 50 kilometre long rare metals pegmatite belt situated within the East Carlow Deformation Zone along the eastern side of the Leinster Granite. Approximately 19 significant lithium pegmatite occurrences have been discovered within the Property to date primarily as boulder trails with five buried pegmatites known through past trenching and drilling.
Lithium bearing pegmatite occurrences were first reported in the area in 1970. In the period through to 1977, Irish Base Metals carried out a preliminary exploration program comprising prospecting, sampling, trenching and geophysical surveys culminating in 47 short boreholes totalling 2,300 metres at 4 of the 19 lithium pegmatite occurrences over a number of seasons.
Due to the prevalent overburden cover and scarcity of outcrop, prospecting for lithium pegmatite boulders was the most successful exploration method utilised to identify priority target areas. The relative location, size and quantity of pegmatite boulders within the dry stone field boundaries provided a reliable indication for the approximate position of buried pegmatites. The Aclare House occurrence, situated in the center of the Property, has witnessed the most exploration activity on the Property and was initially discovered through this exploration approach.
Thirty-three short drill holes totalling 1,703m were drilled at Aclare House. A pegmatite body up to 20 metres wide and traced for more than 400 metres along strike was delineated and a pre-NI43-101 historical resource of 570,000 tonnes grading 1.5% Li2O was reported. (A Qualified Person has not done sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as current mineral resources, the issuer is not treating the historical estimate as current mineral resources and the historical estimate should not be relied upon.)
Five drill holes, for a total of 163 metres, were drilled at the Stranakelly occurrence situated proximal to the northeast Property boundary. Lithium-bearing pegmatite mineralization was intersected in four of the holes with hole STK3 grading 1.85% Li2O over 5.3 metres.
Five drill holes, for a total of 212 metres, were drilled at the Moylisha occurrence situated approximately 10 kms northeast of Aclare House. The width of the pegmatite body encountered varied between 5 and 10 metres with one hole grading 1.66% Li2O over 9.4 metres.
Four drill holes, for a total of 280 metres, were drilled at the Seskinnamadra occurrence situated approximately 8 kms southwest of Aclare House. The narrow pegmatite intersections reported from the drilling does not explain the significant frequency and size of the lithium pegmatite boulders mapped in the area that suggests a potentially large yet to be discovered buried pegmatite body.
The observed lithium bearing pegmatites and extensive boulder occurrences within the Property represent a highly prospective and underexplored region. In addition, the recent discovery of a high concentration of pegmatite boulders reporting grades exceeding 4% Li2O at Moylisha only serve to highlight the exploration potential of the Property.
John Harrop, P.Geo, is the company's Qualified Person on the project as required under NI 43-101 and has reviewed the technical information contained in this press release.
ABOUT INTERNATIONAL LITHIUM CORP
International Lithium Corp. is an international rare metals mineral exploration company with an outstanding portfolio of projects, strong management ownership, robust financial support and a strategic partner, Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium Co. Ltd., a leading China based lithium product manufacturer, as a keystone investor.
ILC currently has 9 active rare metals projects, well balanced between lithium brines in Argentina and Nevada and hard-rock pegmatites in Canada and Ireland. The Company's primary focus is the Mariana lithium brine project, a salar or 'salt lake,' covering an expansive 160 square kilometres and strategically encompassing the entire basin. Mariana is located in the renowned South American 'Lithium Belt' centred on the junction of Argentina, Bolivia and Chile that is host to the vast majority of global lithium resources, reserves and production. The Mariana lithium brine project ranks as one of the more prospective salars in the region.
Complementing the Company's lithium brine projects are the rare metals pegmatite properties. The key characteristics shared by the hard-rock rare metals projects are their limited past exploration, excellent accessibility, limited assaying for rare metals, clear potential for additional exploration to add project value and development potential to meet the global technological growth in demand for the rare metals suite of elements.
International Lithium Corp.'s mandate is to increase shareholder value through aggressive advancement of its core projects and to source joint venture partners to expand the scope and diversify risk of its exploration effort.
